Project Description
Trace Consulting Group (TCG) designed and managed the replacement of the existing heating boilers with new high-efficiency condensing boilers. Our design included a gas consumption analysis and separation of the heating and domestic boiler systems to allow for a reduction in overall boiler capacity and operation of the systems independently for optimal and efficient performance.
The new system was accompanied with a new building automation system (BAS) to monitor the performance of the equipment and ensure that all equipment are operating at peak performance. The project involved close coordination with internal stakeholders (mechanical and electrical teams), as well external stakeholders (client team, contractor and building residents) to successfully manage all design and construction activities to execute the replacement during the summer season to minimize disruption and system downtimes.
TCG provided construction administration and general oversight throughout the project and lead the project through to final completion, providing a final sign-off to the client and authorities having jurisdiction.

In addition to our typical services, a standout feature for this project was we were able to lead and coordinate efforts between all stakeholders to apply for available incentives for the client to further reduce the capital investment required.
